This firm of international attorneys was established in 1982 by Mr. Clare Skatfeld who passed away in 1992. The firm provides a full range of legal services for domestic and international clients. Areas of practice include: company formation and management; tax and estate planning; real estate and property development; mortgage financing; immigration and residency; asset preservation; yacht registration, corporate and commercial law.   Bruce R. Twa obtained his law degree from the University of Alberta in 1982 and was admitted to the bar in Alberta in July 1983. He has practiced in the Turks and Caicos Islands since July 1989 when he joined what was then Skatfeld & Associates. Mr. Twa practices in the real estate, company, commercial law, yacht registration, international finance and immigration fields.   Yvette Marcelin obtained her law degree from the University of Leeds in 1995 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 1996. Ms. Marcelin was admitted to the Turks and Caicos Islands Bar in October 1996 and to the Bar of the Bahamas in December 1998. She practices in the areas of real estate, company, commercial and immigration law. Ms. Marceln is also a Notary Public.   Bernd G. Wolf obtained his law degree from the University of Windsor in 1979 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1981. He has practiced law in the Turks and Caicos Islands since December 1999 when he joined the firm. Mr. Wolf practices in the fields of real estate, corporate/commercial law, trusts and estate planning, immigration and international finance.   Peter E. Cochrane obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1969 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1971. He was called to the Bar of the Turks and Caicos Islands in July 1992. Mr. Cochrane practices in the real estate, company, commercial law, trusts, international finance and insurance law fields. Mr. Cochrane is also a Notary Public. André K Malcolm obtained his LL.B. from the University of the West Indies in 1999 and C.L.E. from the Eugene Depuch Law School in 2001. André was admitted to the Turks and Caicos Islands Bar in 2001 and to the Bar of the British Virgin Islands in 2003 where he also practised until early 2006 when he returned to the Turks and Caicos to join Twa Marcelin Wolf. André practices in the areas of real estate, corporate, commercial law, and employment law.
